Photos and Description of this Azerables holiday house 5 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, sleeps 11, well furnished, near shops.

This large house easily accommodates 11 people in comfort. It is situated in the heart of the village but has its own private rear garden of just over 0.5 acres, in which you have sole use of a 11mx6m swimming pool, and a covered outdoor eating area. The farmhouse style kitchen is very large and fully equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, toaster and lots more. It has origianl oak beamed ceiling. Ample seating for 10. The entrance/sitting hall, provides seating and well stocked bookshelves,and has granite floors with oak beams. Wood burning stove. Off from the hall is the huge lounge, large wood burning stove and comfortable seating for 10,with CD and DVD player along with English TV. Upstairs we have 5 bedrooms (all non interconnecting) and 2 bathrooms. Electric storage heaters in main rooms provide background heat for cooler months along with 2 wood burning stoves to supplement heating.

Our house is situated in a village at the heart of the Commune. It has a pharmacy, village shop, supermarket on the edge of the village, and a bar/cafe which serves meals at lunchtimes only. If you should wish an evening meal then there is another bar just outside of the village within easy walking distance. We have a leisure lake 2kms from the house, which provides all sorts of water sports throughout the summer season. Horse riding lots to choose from within a radius of 5kms. Should you wish to travel further afield,within 30 kms in any direction you will be at a leisure lake similar to the one at Azerables, some are small and offer basic amenities but others are huge and offer water sports and good choices of cafes and restaurants.

  • Both bathrooms have heated towel rails and bathroom cabinets with electric power points in them. Hair dryers are provided and you would plug them into these bathroom cabinets.

  • All bedrooms are non interconnecting, so there is no disturbing others when you want to leave the room. All of the beds come with either duvets with accompanying bed linen and pillows or sheets, pillowcases and blankets for the winter months. They are all large rooms apart from the single and twin bedded rooms which we class as normal sized. 3 of the bedroom have the original wood floors and 2 have original 'tomette' clay tiles

Notes: English caretaker will come in twice a week to cut the grass and to monitor the pool. 2 gents bikes and 2 ladies bikes are available for use. Electricity and Gas are included during the period 24th May-20th September. Outside of these times, electric will be charged for units used ( a reading will be taken upon arrival and departure- this will be sent to me and I will deduct from your security deposit) Also any wood used for the wood burning stoves will be deducted as well from the deposit. Bed linen is always included in the rental price.

For the 6 weeks of the school holidays we only let the house in blocks of 2 week periods, outside of these weeks it is available for single week bookings. Arrival time is 4.00pm and departure time is 10.00am

Bed linen is included in rentals all of the year round. For the cot we provide only fitted sheets as we feel parents would prefer to use their own duvets etc Gas and Electric is included in lets from 24th May - 20th September. Lets outside of these quoted dates;- wood charged at cost for amount used, and electric charged at cost for amount used (readings to be taken upon arrival and departure)
