Set on a hilltop within the French countryside, in the heart of the chateaux region La Sorniere guarantees a private, exclusive and relaxing setting for your holiday. The newly installed pool & patio area is completely private & for your own personal use. There is a very large lawned garden, an external tiled patio & a covered eating area, complete with BBQ. The large beamed living area is very spacious with 3 comfortable sofas, 1 of which is a double sofa bed. There is a TV with English Sky, DVD/CD player. There is a wood burning fire for the winter months. The dining area features a large table with seating for 10 people. The well equipped kitchen has a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine & ample storage space. Bedroom 1 has a double bed with French windows & the option of a cot should one be required. Bedrooms 2 & 3 are twin bedded rooms. The modern shower room incorporates an enclosed shower unit, low flush WC & a mirrored vanity unit

Positioned in the centre of the chateaux region and within easy reach of the historic towns of Loches, Tours, Chinon, Saumur and Amboise. La Sorniere nestles close to the tiny hamlet of Neuilly le Brignon which is accessible on foot or by bike (available on site for your use). The village has a family run grocery/bar and an excellent butchers shop. The Brignon river flows gently through the village centre, where picnic tables and a children's play area are provided. Ten minutes drive away is the bustling market town of Descartes, with bars restaurants and shops. There is also a large leisure park with swimming pool, water chutes, pitch & putt, tennis and basket ball courts. Every Sunday there is a vibrant, well established market with every stall imaginable.
