Indre holiday barn: Azay le Ferron

We had a fantastic stay at La Grange. We have a 10 month old baby, and the property more than catered for an infant. There were stair gates, a high chair, a cot, a microwave etc. The property is well furnished and spacious too - so would be ideal for larger families or groups.
It was clean, and well equipped with towels, and kitchen utensils, large fridge and freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer (although there is a line outside which we used as it was so hot) etc.
The pool was lovely, a great size and lovely and warm (we stayed at the end of June). There were sun loungers and umbrella shades for when the sun got too hot (and it was very hot at times). The table tennis table and swings, and boules sets were great for entertaining yourselves and the little one! The garden is big, with trees for shade - great for having a picnic under, and lovely views over the fields behind.
We had quite a few BBQ's and it was lovely to sit outside in the evenings and drink some Rose while the sun went down!
Inside the property are loads of information pamphlets about places to visit - we visited the Zoo (40 mins away) which was fantastic, a great day trip. 5 mins away is another animal park that is worth a look. The local area has a plethora of chateaus to go and see with lovely gardens. There is a market in Loches - with a castle & Keep to have a wander through. The Boulangerie in Azay le Ferron is great with fab pain au chocolats! We found that everyone we met were really friendly and helpful.
If you need to use the internet the Tourist Office does have computers that you can use. (It's right by the Chateau in Azay).
I would recomend staying here - excellent for families with kids. A car would be very useful to get around to the local towns and attractions as it is quite a rural area. Most places to visit are 5 mins to half hour drive away.
