La Menagerie is an 18th century wine-maker’s house that was fully restored in 2005. Its surface, which is approximately 2045 square feet, can accommodate up to six adults in comfort. The renovation preserved the character of the cottage while making it as comfortable as any contemporary home. It combines antique furniture, paintings and prints, with more recent items with a touch of international contemporary design. It also offers a lot of modern amenities: broadband wireless Internet connection; a Finnish SAUNA and heating system; a flat screen TV with sound system; washer & separate dryer among others. It is composed of a large living and dining room that opens to a joint kitchen; three bedrooms, a family room, a laundry room, 2 powder rooms with a toilet and basin, and 2 full bathrooms (one at each floor). The living room features hardwood floors and wooden ceilings beams, a dining table that sits eight, and a fireplace. The kitchen has gourmet cooking utensils and equipment.

Rental rates for the cottage in Loire Valley, France

Notes to the rental rates

• Rates include utilities and management fees. From November the 1st to April the 14th there is a 70 Euros electricity fee per week in addition to the rental rate.
  For more than 2 consecutive weeks, rates can be negotiated.
  A safety deposit of €600 will be asked upon check-in. This safety deposit should be made through PayPal.com, unless other arrangements have been made prior to your arrival. If nothing is noted during the inventory period, the safety deposit will be returned to you upon checking out. If damages are noted, the safety deposit will be forwarded to you within two months, after deduction of repairs/replacement costs or supplementary cleaning resulting from an insufficient state of cleanliness.
  
• To reserve the property an initial deposit of 20% of the agreed rental price has to be transferred to the owner's Paypal account. Paypal is an online, secure server that accept various types of payment, including all credit cards ( see: www.PayPal.com )
  Once the initial deposit has been made, a confirmation receipt will be sent to you with a copy of the rental agreement. This is the formal acceptance at the time of the booking. You should return this agreement signed to me and make a second deposit of 30% at the time of your signing.
  The remainder of the rental fee (50%) will be due 45 days prior to your arrival. The payment of the initial deposits and final balance, confirms your period of rental
  If the time elapsed between your booking of the property and the arrival date is less than 45 days, then 100% of the rental price is payable at the time of your booking.
  
• If the clients have to cancel their reservation, the owner’s policy is as follows: 60 days or more prior to arrival: 100% refund, less €80 fee; If the client gives less than 60 days notice, the owner will try to rent the dates that were blocked for the client. If the owner is successful a 100% refund will be sent to the client, less €80 fee.

The 'Chateau de Cheverny Golf Club' is only 7 km far from the property. This superb Golf Course, is set around a lake ('l:a Rousseliere') in the old hunting grounds of the Chateau de Cheverny.
