Beautiful guesthouse in forest/mountain area
The guesthouse of La Brande is situated in a valley without any neighbors. Only 5 minutes from the mountain village of Xonrupt-Longemer with its beautiful lake, and 10 minutes from touristic center of Vosges mountains Gerardmer. Deer and other wild animals are our daily visitors. In this region you will find activities in every season, like skiing, mountain climbing, walking, biking, horse riding, swimming in the many natural lakes etc. Our guesthouse is about 120m2 in two levels. The ex- and interior is very romantic, there is a large garden, big covered bbq place and a fireplace in the house. Wood is waiting for you to be put on fire.

The nearest village is Xonrupt-Longemer, in the Gerardmer region. This is the heart of the French Vosges Mountain Area in the middle of the local national park (parc naturel de Haute-Vosges). Colmar, Nancy and Strasbourg are easy to visit from here, as is Basel in Switzerland. The famous Alsace wine region is on 20 minutes only. The mountain area Vosges is worth visiting all year around, the climate is perfect to have an active Holiday. Our house is situated on 830m level, in summer not to hot, in winter always snow. In our region you will find the oldest ski area in France!
