To the front of the house is a long shaded dining terrace that opens into the kitchen and sitting room. The kitchen is very well equipped. It has a central table and chairs, a seven burner gas hob and a double electric oven, a large fridge, and a Godin wood-burning stove. The rear lobby has a walk in pantry and a cloakroom with w.c. and basin. Stairs to lower floor that has a laundry/boiler room with washing machine sink and fridge/freezer.The imposing light and airy sitting room is stylishly furnished and has a impressive central stone fireplace. It has a telephone, satellite TV, video and a DVD. A stone archway leads through into the formal dining room, that has a fireplace and stairs to the upper floor. The ground floor also has a double bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bathroom with separate shower, wc and basin and a snooker/pool room with central fireplace with wood-burning stove. .
Accommodation & grounds:
Upper Floor: The spacious landing provides a second sitting area. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, comfortable seating, and a door to the outside staircase that leads down to the gardens. To the right is the dressing room and en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower, double basin and wc. The third double bedroom also has a king-size bed which can split into two singles if required. The fourth bedroom has two single beds. There is a spacious shower room with wc and basin, and additional cloakroom with basin and wc.
The old trees provide shaded sitting and eating areas within the grounds. There is plenty of leisure furniture and a gas BBQ. To the left of the house is an open barn with a table tennis table and covered parking in front of the main barn. There are two adult bikes at the house but the road leading up to Domaine de Goutte Bas is quite steep, However guests are welcome to use them.
