Property Details:
Les Lavandes and Romarin are set in 8 hectares of land consisting of lawns, terraces with a rockery and woodland. There are spectacular views of the 13th century Royal Bastide town of Touron d'Agenais. Birds of prey, deer and other wild animals are often seen. The fenced pool is shared between the two cottages and is equipped with sunbeds, tables and chairs with parasols. Although the main house and two cottages are all on the one site, they do not overlook each other and all have their own privacy whilst having an open aspect.
Both cottages have their own secluded and covered outside dining/living areas. All garden furniture is provided. The cottages would make an ideal base for two families wishing to share a holiday, but retain their own privacy. Walking, table tennis, badminton and boules are all available on site.
Tournon is within easy reach whether by car, bike or foot and offers two restaurants, supermarket, bank, baker, butcher, post office and hairdresser.
Activities:
The countryside is breathtaking. Whether driving, walking or cycling the views are spectacular. There are local vineyards to visit with the Cave du Tsar just along the road from us. There are too many interesting places to visit to mention here, but a few of the bastide villages include Beauville, Lauzerte, Monflanquin, Penne d'Agenais and Pujols. Larger towns such as Cahors, Villeneuve-su-Lot and Moissac are also worth a visit.
There are markets nearly every day of the week where it is possible to purchase the local produce and taste the local wines, cheeses and other delicacies.
