The Fromagerie is part of the original Regis farmhouse, situated in Le Laussou, 4km (a five minute drive) from Monflanquin, listed as one of the loveliest medieval Bastide towns in France. Within an easy drive, you will also discover many historic towns such as Villereal, Issigeac and Monpazier, all trapped in a time warp of history and looking very like they could have done hundreds of years ago, with quaint streets, leaning buildings, markets and a wonderfully hospitable welcome. Within our area and within the Dordogne (about a 40 minute drive from us) there are untold places of interest to visit. The local wine is excellent and there are plenty of producers within a short radius of us where you can go and taste and, if you wish, buy. In the Fromagerie you will find a folder of all such attractions and the Office de Tourism in Monflanquin will equip you with all the information you may require about places to visit and sporting/leisure activities available of which there are many

Offers sleeping for 6 people, one double and two twin-bedded rooms. The lounge has a wood-burning fire, two double settees, three armchairs, large coffee table, well stocked bookcase and indoor games, plus French TV/Video player and CD/radio/tape player. There is a large dining table with seating for six. The kitchen is equipped with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and all cooking utensils, glasses and crockery. The three bedrooms are equipped with wardrobes, plenty of lights and mirrors. There are two bedrooms on the upstairs floor and one further twin-bedded room off the half-landing. The main bathroom, next to the upstairs bedrooms, has bath, shower-over, basin, WC and shaver point. On the ground floor is a further walk-in shower room with vanity unit and WC. Outside there is a large shaded terrace with table and seating for up to 8, BBQ and plenty of space to enjoy a meal al fresco – with beautiful views over the countryside.

Our Fromagerie and Independent Bedroom are fully equipped with bed linen, bathroom, kitchen and pool towels and a change of bed linen, kitchen and bathroom towels is supplied at the end of the first week.

Within the area of Monflanquin itself, there are many very good restaurants and all necessary amenities – including an English shop/restaurant in case you may have forgotten an essential item of home cooking!
