The farmhouse and cottage are two holiday homes under one roof surrounded by 2 hectares of grounds with a large fenced pool (12m x 6m with roman steps) and large terrace shared between both, making this an ideal location for families with children. There are 6 bedrooms and 2 mezzanine bedrooms sleeping 18. It is set in a private position at the end of a quiet lane and commands lovely views over the surrounding countryside. The property is available for letting all year. The farmhouse is extremely spacious with traditional farmhouse kitchen fully equipped. The cottage with its' own kitchen, comfortable lounge and wood burning stove has two bedrooms (one double and one with bunk beds) and a mezzanine bed with curtain for privacy. It has it's own shaded terrace - perfect for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening or escaping from the mid-day sun.

Guillegorce - farmhouse (sleeps 12) & cottage (sleeps 6). The farmhouse kitchen, can cater for up to 18 guests so that everyone can eat together. The fully equipped kitchen, has large stove and leads onto a long tiled dining terrace with BBQ. The lounge is spacious and comfortable, has beamed ceilings, an antique fireplace and marble floor. There is also a television with UK satellite TV, DVD and a video, ADSL. Overlooking the lounge is a beautiful wooden galleried landing. On the ground floor there is a large double bedroom , shower-room / toilet and washing machine. On the first floor - 2 double bedrooms and one with 2 sets of bunk-beds. A mezzanine bedroom with double bed and curtain surround for privacy. Bathroom with bath and shower cubicle. WC. The cottage has 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 single + bunk beds) and mezzanine double bed. The lounge is comfortable with wood burning stove, French TV, DVD, ADSL dining table and leather sofas. There is a kitchen and shower room/WC.

Local Facilities: La Sauvetat du Dropt with local shops bar & restaurant 2km, Eymet – super Bastide town 6km, The famous town of Bergerac 30km, Monbazillac 20km, Duras – elevated market town with hillside Chateau 10km. Lovely countryside all around with restaurants, chateaux, vineyards and colourful market towns. Summer months only - swimming lake with water sports, horse riding, pedaloes and water slides – 10 minutes by car Pre-historic caves with cave paintings within easy driving distance. Tennis courts. Canoeing on the local river.

The owners: The owners live about 10 mins away and are available for any questions you may have. They speak English, French and Flemish. There is another rental property with 'semi permanent' residents at the very back of the Guillegorce with it's own private drive, garden and pool. The grounds at Guillegorce are however large enough and the houses situated in such a way for you to have privacy and the knowledge that you won't be disturbing anyone! Enjoy!

45 Days at Guillegorce - weren't we lucky! A wonderful welcome awaited us, fire alight, house warm & cosy & bottle and glasses on the table. Thankyou for making our stay so special. Our cottage was wonderful & cosy, the countryside so wonderfully quiet. Starry nights and lots of laughter - will life ever be the same? Norma & Alan.
