An attractive and comfortably furnished farmhouse, built of old stone, in a secluded position, surrounded by farmland. The property is situated about 3km to the small town of Cancon, with shops, baker and restaurant. Nearby is a 18 hole golf course open to the public, and shortly after is the larger Bastide town of Villeneuve. The spacious entrance opens into a large sitting/ dining area and kitchen. The kitchen which is well equipped with dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge, microwave, is conveniently placed between the large dining area and the breakfast room with doors opening to a terrace, the garden and pool. Next to the kitchen is a sitting room and a door leading outto a covered terrace. There is a satellite TV/ DVD and HI FI. Double Bedroom (1) with en suite shower room (1)+ WC. Bedroom (2) twin beds, Bedroom (3) has a double bed. Bathroom (2) and WC. Also another shower room (3), Upstairs Bedroom (4) - twin beds. Outside: 12m x 6m pool/Roman steps, and large pretty gardens.

The Lot Valley is south of the Dordogne and North of the Gers near the rivers Lot, Dordogne, Tarn & Garonne in a beautiful, unspoilt and temperate area of South West France. This open countryside of gentle hills and valleys provides a sense of freedom in green fields, oak forests, vineyards, farmland & charming historical hill-top Bastide towns. Visiting the Lot valley, where there are few main roads & little traffic, takes you back to a rural England of 30 years ago yet with all things French that so many of us dream of. The area is steeped in history having been part of the battlefield of the Hundred Years War. Many of the castles, villages & towns were built by the English (Aquitaine being British in the 13th Century on the marriage of Eleanor of Aquitane to Henry II). The medieval Bastide towns, often built around arcade market places, have remained largely unspoilt - Monpazier, Monflanquin, Tournon d’Agenais, Puymirol, Lauzerte. Leisure Lakes & Rivers.
