The perfect getaway!

My boyfriend and I had a lovely time at Salarial for his birthday in July, 2010. It couldn’t have been a more perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of London life.
The house itself is absolutely picturesque with its impeccable interior, rustic country landscaping with a fresh herb garden and relaxing pool area.
As food and wine lovers, we relished the opportunity to indulge in fresh oysters, fois gras, duck confit and cheese, all available from the local village markets with the most fresh of produce.
The open-concept kitchen was very well equipped and we enjoyed having the option of eating in on the beautiful dining room table or in the glow of candlelight out in the garden.
We spent half of our time travelling the country side, visiting the local wineries and summer markets and the rest of the time relaxing by the pool with our books.
It really was a trip to remember and I would recommend it highly to anyone. And only 25 minutes from the Bergerac Airport!
