The property is ideally situated for visiting the many medieval villages. Cordes, the most famous occupying a beautiful hilltop setting is a 15min drive. Monesties, our local 14c village is 5mins by car with a small supermarket, 3 restaurants, post office and newsagent. The Cap de couverte (sports and activities centre) is 10mins.Albi, the major town in the area 20mins renowned for its cathedral and collection of Toulouse Lautrec paintings, also offers extensive restaurant and shopping facilities. The Gaillac area boasts over 120 vineyards to visit and sample the various wines. The region offers numerous fetes, regional fairs and weekly markets.
