Visit the many interesting places: Roquefort caves, the Tarn bridge (tallest bridge in the world), Toulouse Lautrec museum, Gaillac vineyards, deep gorges, Cité de l'Espace (space city), medieval town of Carcassonne ….

Cap'Découverte at Carmaux (20 kms.) A large multi sport/leisure centre with a dry ski slope, skate park, water skiing and zip line. Atlantis Waterpark at Albi (35 kms.). Three 18 hole golf courses nearby, 2 at Albi & 1 at Rodez. Lac de Pareloup near Rodez (50 kms.) with water sports and beaches. Near Carmaux is a small lake where you can hire sailing dinghy’s – and a pathway encircling the lake. Riding and tennis in Mirandol (10 kms.). Fishing permits are available locally. Many rivers in the area are also suitable for canoeing and swimming. We are on the edge of the Gaillac wine region and you can visit many of the vineyards.

Eating out & Shopping

There are a variety of local restaurants, offering local fare as well as traditional cuisine all at reasonable prices. Specialities of the region are duck, foie gras, cassoulet and of course Toulouse sausage. You'll also find the usual alternatives (pizza, burgers etc) in the larger towns! For your day to day shopping needs there are nearby villages with boulangeries, butchers, and supermarkets etc, also post office and banks. There are also nearby hypermarkets and towns with all variety of shops.
