2 stone houses entirely restored, full of charm, with their stone walls, wells, ancient bread oven, both rented together for 7 people. Flexible capacity depending on the season, for 4-6-8-10-12 people. In July and August we rent out for 12 people.Please ask us for prices. Your holiday house of 2500m2 area is well organised, each house is fully equipped. To preserve your privacy or for a get together you can have your meals in the large fully fitted summer kitchen in the enclosed garden area by the pool. And if the weather permits, you can live outside all day, and cook your food on the large stone barbecue. The whole is made up of 3 kitchens, 1 summer kitchen, 3 dining rooms. 3 living rooms, 3 shower rooms, 1 bathroom, 5 \WCs, 1 utility, 3 fridges, 1 fridge-freezer, 4 microwaves, 4 TVs, 3 extractor fans, hairdryers in each shower room.

Albi, an extraordinary local town, the cathedral of Sainte Cécile, and the Palais de la Berbie are some of its other jewels. The Tarn: gourmet heaven, with its famous restaurants, wine festival, colourful markets with their street theatre, wide variety of cheeses, French rural life, walking and equestrian routes, kayaking, in the sumptuous scenery of the Aveyron gorges.The famous pont de Millau, the Spanish border and the Mediterranean which are only 2 hours away by car. You will have a superb holiday discovering the land of the stars.

  • FOUGERE, one bathroom with step in shower, washstand, separate WC. In the large room in PERVENCHE, 1 bathroom with bath with seat, shower, washstand, and WC, with partition. The two bedooms in CHATAIGNE are on the 1st floor, the bathroom is on the ground floor with Italian style shower, washstand and separate WC. The sleeping area in CAPUCINE is on the ground floor, 1 Italian style shower, 1 separate WC. All the bathrooms are fitted with electric towel rails, hairdryers, and storage cupboards. For mid season there is a wood burning stove, central and direction able, will heat the whole house, wood is available all year round, in mid season we require an extra payment for electricity, 15 KW free each day, any more is calculated at 0.15 per KW.

We will begin with FOUGERE, 1 bedroom with partition, 1 double bed, 1 king size bed, 1 shower room , 1 separate WC. PERVENCHE, latge 50m2 room, with 1 double bed and 1 90cm wrought iron sofa, cannot be used as a bed, 1 bathroom, 1 WC, 1 desk, 1 television. CHATAIGNE, 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor with mezzanine overlooking the living room, in 1 bedroom 1 king size bed, in the second 1 double bed and 1 90 cm sofa bed, bathroom looking over the pool, separate WC, CAPUCINE, the last to be restored. on the ground floor, 1 bedroom with double bed and shower room, separate WC, Italian style shower. PERVENCHE and CHATAIGNE are suitable for 7 people, Fougere for 10, and CAPUCINE for 12.

Heated pool: The pool is in a lawned garden, surrounded by a low wall which can be closed to keep out children. An electric alarm completes the security system. The pool heated by a heat pump and a solar shower is an additional luxury. As far as management is concerned, we carry out maintenance of the pool once or twice a week, according to what is needed, an automatic robot makes this work easier. Deckchairs, armchairs and hammock are available for you to relax in.

Summer kitchen: The summer kitchen which is in this enclosure is completely equipped with sink with hot water, dishwasher, multifunction oven, stone barbecue and movable barbecue, electric griddle. A large table to seat 12 people. In the adjoining building is a large fridge with freezer and a large crockery cupboard, everything is there without having to use utensils and crockery from the houses. Inside a wooden pergola there is a small table with chairs suitable for dinner aperitifs.

Activities: On the premises there is a ping pong table, 3 bicycles, a pétanque ground, a swing and games for children. The region around Cordes, one of the most beautiful villages of France, is very touristic.

Golf: LAS BORDES, the famous high tech golf course at Albi, is bordered by the river Tarn, dominated by the cathedral of St Cécile and is exceptional.

Other Activities: Climbing, hiking, Carmaux theme park, kayaking in the Aveyron gorges

Lovely home in peaceful rural setting

We stayed at Les Pierres in May/June 2008 for 6 wonderful weeks. The house was very well equipped, the outside kitchen was amazing and the pool was lovely. The owners did everything they could to make us welcome, even letting us watch the FA cup final on their own TV as our home team was playing. The village is very quiet, lovely walks around and superb wild life....we saw a deer in the next field and watched many birds nesting in our own barn plus the local barn owl who sat and watched us each evening!
A lovely house to spend a relaxing holiday, very close to beautiful Cordes sur Ciel and other interesting local villages.St Antonin sunday market was an enjoyable outing each week. A most enjoyable and peaceful stay.
