Well equipped country cottage with private heated pool. Comfortable, carefully restored cottage in golden stone with exposed old beams in all rooms. Set in 'oasis' of 3 acres own land and surrounded by own trees. The cottage is not overlooked and is located on the fringes of a very peaceful village with no through traffic. There are fine views of the countryside. The cottage is very well equipped. There is a well maintained garden with stone terrace. Bedlinen and towels available. Shopping at 5 miles in the small country town of Labastide-Murat and major shopping at 15 miles in Cahors, with markets, restaurants and tourist attractions including the River Lot. Wine tasting is possible at numerous wineries nearby. The area is famous for its wine and fine cuisine.

Ussel is a small unspoilt village with a population of about 80. It's set in open, undulating countryside. Our neighbours are friendly! Although handy for a motorway (A20), its traffic is not visible or audible from the cottage. Good everyday shopping (in Labastide-Murat) is just a few miles away. There are good restaurants at various price levels nearby.
