The Cottage:
The property is set in a hectare with walnut and fruit trees. Many flowering shrubs have been planted and together with the wild flowers encourage butterflies that are so abundant around the property. The birdlife and wild flowers, including many species of native wild orchids are spectacular. Relax in the sun on the terrace and take in the peace and quiet or during the cooler months, sit indoors in front of the blazing woodburner and enjoy one of the many books from the bookcase.
There are lots of walks around the property, two of which start from the property. There are two viewpoints within walking distance of the property which afford you the most stunning views of the Dordogne valley and limestone cliffs. For the more serious walkers, the GR 6 ('Grande Randonee') is a short distance away and you can walk for kilometres along this hiking trail.
