A beautifully restored white stone, 17th century farmhouse on 38,000m2 of private park with a 11x5.5m2 large pool with splendid views of the medieval town of Lauzerte (5kms) and close by the market town of Montcuq. The house consists of a large living room, a vaulted kitchen with a beautiful, large fireplace, 3 bedrooms all with charming details, a modern shower room and a WC. There is lots of space all for you! You will be in complete privacy surrounded by rolling hills of melon, sunflower fields and vineyards but also only a 5 minutes drive away from the shopping centre and the beautiful town of Lauzerte classified as 'one of the most beautiful villages in France', a classification only granted to a handful of villages. On the grounds you have a large swimming pool (11mx5.5m) with a terrace, a wisteria pergola where you would have your breakfast, palm, acacia, olive, fruit trees, a completely private wooden private park which protects you from heat of the summer.

This farmhouse has an idyllic rural setting on a hillside, in rolling countryside, about an hour northwest of Toulouse and enjoying complete privacy and peace. Cahors is good wine country and the area is also noted for many fine medieval towns, of which Lauzerte is the nearest (12 km). Moissac, with its famous cloister lies 20 km to the south, and Montcuq, a bustling market town, is also about 20 km. The dramatic Gorges du Tarn are within easy reach, as are Albi with its wonderful cathedral and the Toulouse -Lautrec museum, while within approx. 2 hours you can be at the sea or in the Pyrenees. There is a nearby equestrian centre, which offers horse riding session for adults and pony club for kids.
