Belrepayre is a 'retro residence' with a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees. Very quiet, No road noise. The property consist in a farm house restored throughout (the holiday rental) and a little private campsite exclusively reserved to retro enthusiasts with the legendary silver Airstream caravans to rent. The house combines great character with all modern conveniences and access to a yoga/dance/exercise room and a sauna. It sleeps up to 6 persons, 2 double bed bedrooms with each a lavabo and a bedroom with 2 single beds, 2 bathrooms(one of them is really special), a large living room with a pool table, open fire place, satellite TV, CD player, books and games, outside a veranda with garden furniture and sunbeds. The beautiful short or long easy walks directly from the house make of Belrepayre a truly wonderful place to be. Belrepayre is definitely an unusual surreal place away from it all with a truly fun and open mind, in the heart of the Cathar region.

Manses is near Mirepoix (11km) a beautiful medieval town where you will find all amenities, In the heart of the Cathar region near many interesting historical sites (Montsegur, Puivert, Camon, Lagarde). In mirepoix many festivals (marionettes, the apple fair)and craft fairs. Lots of sport activities (horse riding, mountain bike, kayak, climbing, sky diving...skying near by in the winter) lots of tropical french summer village parties with the traditional music and very good bands), and much more. The climate generally is hot and dry like Carcassonne. Mirepoix is a hive of all sort of activities, all year round.

Entertainment, fetes and festivals throughout the summer in Mirepoix and surrounding villages. 1/2h drive : Large local lake of Montbel, paddle boat, sailing boats. Caves, castles, theme farms(bison, bamboo), parachute jump, kayak, karting... 3/4h drive : montains, 18 holes golf course and driving range, closest ski station... 1h30 drive : nearest sea and sandy beach or high mountains. 2h drive : Andorra (tax free country)

GROUPS WELCOME: We have seminaries, workshops, music or theatre rehearsals, group of friends together for sport matter or birthday parties. The house is fitted for catering till 14 persons. We can also if you wish organize your stay following your tastes and your budget. Touring Cathare castles, visiting organic farms, prepare you some interesting walks in the mountains, bring you to beautiful spot to paint, organize a treasure hunt. Don't hesitate to ask for any sort of dream you have, Belrepayre is full of hidden possibilities.

It's total bliss at Belrepayre, stunning views, beautiful garden and birdsong. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house was very comfortable, ancient but with all mod cons and the use of a yoga studio an added bonus. Coline and Perry the hosts, couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and our stay more enjoyable. Highly recommended. Car essential.
