Au Blanquet is a lovely, old Country Manor dating from 1817, situated in rolling countryside amidst a farming community with stunning views across the valley to Mouchan and the Pyrenees in the distance. It sleeps 8 in four bedrooms, three upstairs and one downstairs. There is a large, well-equipped farmhouse kitchen, seating 8, with an open fire. There is a sitting room with TV, DVD, limited Sky Satellite and a Radio/CD/Cassette player, drawing room and dining room. There is a large covered terrace for dining outside the kitchen, with a gas barbecue. There is a 12 m x 6m swimming pool which is surrounded by a safety fence. Garden furniture, sun beds and umbrellas are provided. There is central heating and open fire places in both sitting rooms. There is also a fully equipped utility room.

This is in the region of Gascony, one of France's least developed and unspoilt areas. It is in the heart of Armagnac and Foie Gras country. Condom (10km) is a pretty cathedral town on the river Baise, with lots of restaurants and shops. There are many attractive, old villages and wine/Armagnac Chateaus to visit. Local places of interest include the Abbaye de Flaran and Fources. The local village of Gondrin has a water park, a boulangerie, a butcher, a chemist and a small supermarket. There are local markets in different surrounding towns from Tuesday to Saturday. There are endless Vineyard's to visit.

There is a large garden with plenty of space for activities, a badminton set is provided. Pool house has lilos and other equipment for children. There are 8 sunbeds and 2 umbrellas and plenty of space on the pool terrace for lying out. There is a seperate laundry with washing machine, ironing board and extra fridge The large kitchen has round table seating 8 and open fireplace.
