This delightful restored farmhouse has a wonderful charm & character which is noticed immediately you enter.

The gardens & terraces make outside living very enjoyable with everything you need. When you enter the house you will find a real home from home. The lounge is very comfortable & generally provides a cool haven on those summer days. To the left you enter into the good sized & very well equipped kitchen with a breakfast table & chairs.

There are 2 shower rooms in the property one downstairs & one up.

The first bedroom is mezzanine style & very comfortable. There is a further double room & in the loft space a further bedroom with twin beds. This is accessed by a steep staircase & not suitable for the very young or old. A perfect haven though for older children!!

The whole property is well cared for & very well furnished to provide maximum holiday comfort to all guests.

La Serre (The Ridge) is situated in the deep South West of France between the Mediterranean and Toulouse. It is some 4 miles North East of Villefranche de Lauragais which is just off the A61 motorway, 25 miles South East of Toulouse and on the border of Haute-Garonne and Aude. Nearby you have the market towns of Castelnaudary & Revel. Carcassonne & its magical caste spires is easily reached & will delight all the family. The 'rose' city of Toulouse is cosmopolitan & a real must do with City Espace being a fantastic family day out. The beaches of the Med are easily reached from the A61 motorway & you can explore the beautiful coast that runs along to the border with Spain. In Villefranche, just a few minutes drive, you have all the amenities you will need for your everyday needs.

Notes: Two large terraces (one covered) both with dining tables and chairs to seat 6. Although children are welcome here at La Serre the location of the twin bedroom on the top floor may make it unsuitable for very young children as the staircase access is steep. One of the double bedrooms is on a mezzanine reached from the lounge area. We can arrange mid stay laundry services on request.
