Ressegayre is situated 1Km from the village of Cazes Mondenard, a working French village with local facilities including a bakers, Post Office and bar/restaurant. The region has lovely rolling countryside with far reaching vistas of sunflowers, vines, melons and orchards.
Rich in history, many 'Bastide 'Villages remain set on hilltops with magnificent views containing beautiful colonnaded squares. Our nearest 'Bastide', Lauzerte, is just ten minutes away. Further afield is St. Cirq Lapopie, reputed to be one of the prettiest villages in France. World Heritage site Roccamadour is just over an hour away. The cloisters at the magnificent Pilgims Abbey in Moissac is a Unesco World Site. Cahors with its Pont de Valentre and Montauban have great shops.
