'En Sayrac' is an old Farmhouse set in a secluded, rural location with mature gardens, private pool and outstanding views over the surrounding rolling countryside. The house has been fully restored and furnished in a traditional style, carefully preserving the original charm, while providing all modern conveniences. The house is set in a pretty valley of farmland and woods. In summer the garden is usually surrounded by Sun Flowers!. There are no immediate neighbours, the nearest property being approx 500m away. The area is a charming rural backwater of the Tarn, close to the historic town of Castres with its extraordinary riverside houses and Goya Museum. Also within easy reach is Albi, the beautiful medieval capital of the region with its dramatic Cathedral. Birthplace of Toulouse-Lautrec and home to a museum of his work. Also within an hour's drive are the historic regional centre of Toulouse, the Disney-esque grandeur of the ancient fortified town of Carcassone, the Canal du Midi, the Black Mountains and many charming small towns and villages that time has simply passed by. This is Cathar country and is dotted with dramatic hill top castles. Further a field, but well within the scope of a day trip are, The Mediterranean, The Pyrenees, The Tarn Gorges and even The Dordogne.

We try to keep this page as up to date as possible, but please check with us by phone or e-mail for the latest information. Change-over day is Saturday. Unless by prior arrangement, we ask guests not to arrive before 3:00pm on the day of arrival, and vacate the house by 10:00am on the day of departure. This gives us the time to change the linen and give the house and pool a thorough clean.

Deposit & other charges
A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to confirm booking. The balance payable 8 weeks before arrival. There is also a £200 breakages deposit, which will be refunded, less breakages, electricity & additional telephone cards (if any), at the end of the holiday. Prices are inclusive of bed linen and towels (including pool towels). Prices are inclusive of gas and water, but electricity will be charged at cost. Wood for open fires can also be supplied at cost.
Other information
The house will be cleaned and prepared before each booking and the pool will cleaned and checked twice a week in season. A weekly change of linen will be made for bookings of more than one week. The telephone is operated by phone cards, which are readily available from Tabacs etc. One complimentary card is left for each booking. Incoming calls can be received without a card. Emergency calls do not need a card
