The Mill is ideally situated between Foix & St Girons with easy access to superb mountain scenery and many attractions, Cathar Castles, Grottos, White water rafting, Pony Trekking and Golf. Le Moulin de la Materette & Grange are located 20 metres apart set in 10 acres of private grounds consisting of formal gardens, woods, natural flower meadow fruit & nut orchards & various recreational areas. The two properties are never rented out separately. They have exclusive use of a large heated pool, badminton court, table tennis, a 10ft Chess Boord, Boules Pitch and croquet lawn. The Moulin has 7 double ensuite rooms and the Grange has 4 ensuite rooms plus a large gallery/studio. On the ground floor of the Moulin is a large well equipped kitchen and an open plan lounge/breakfast/dining area, where there is an expanding table that will seat up to 24. Outside on the terrace, facing the croquet lawn, there is an immense BBQ where you can eat under cover with seating for 24. 6 bikes available with helmets. Bed linen & towels, including pool towels are provided. FREE Broadband access and FREE phone calls to UK and throughout Europe.

Only 25 minutes from one of the best locations to view the Pyrenean chain. 20 minutes from both St Girons and Foix. 10 minutes from a superb golf course and pony trekking centre.

Skiing; The Moulin is 20 minutes from Foix where a ski train will take you to Bonascre (Axe les Thermes) Alternatively it is a 70 minute drive to Bonascre, or 90 minutes to Andorra ( Pas de la Cas).

Golf Information:

Golf Club de l'Ariege is only 12 minutes away near Bastide de Serou, Excellent 18 hole course, 9 hole course, golf range etc. Early and Late Golf holidays can be arranged on a full board arrangement. B, B & Evening meal 4 course with predinner drink, wine, and coffee etc. £45 approx per person sharing a room.
