In addition to the shops already mentioned, Cajarc also has a pharmacy, petrol garage, small supermarket and a tourist information center.
Every Saturday afternoon there is the local market.
The 'maison des guides' on the jetty, as well as organising canoeing and kayaking offers caving, rock climbing and abseiling activities during July and August.
In the summer months the village is a buzz of activity offering some form of entertainment every weekend during July and August. It is famous for its Africajarc music festival usually held on the last weekend of July for 4 days. The first weekend of August is the 'fete de Cajarc' with displays of petanque, folklore sketches, bands, carnival and a fairground. In October, Cajarc hosts the saffron festival.
We are open in the winter too, which provides a more tranquil, slow paced, relaxing break, but with all the amenities provided for, in the village.
