St Cere has a marvellous selection of shops and restaurants and is an ideal base for anyone looking for a walking, cycling or sightseeing holiday.
St Cere is a picturesque medieval town situated at the eastern end of the Dordogne Valley. It is situated on the River Bave, a tributary of the Dordogne, which it joins at Bretenoux 8kms north-east of St Cere.
It is a charming small town with a lovely french feel about it. A perfect location to explore the wonderful countryside of the Causse and Segala plus it is very close to a number of medieval villages that have been designated 'Les plus beaux villages de France'. Only a short distance to the Correze, Cantal and Aveyron departments.
There's a market every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month and during July and August there is a bustling night market.
Fly to any of Bergerac, Rodez, Limoges or Toulouse. Services from major airports with many low cost carriers. Driving time from Northern French ports is apx 8-9 hours. Car essential.
