Ideal for friends or two families!!! Langans is a beautiful, almost 300 year old manor house, partly converted to a spacious, well equipped, completely independent property, Le Pressoir. In idyllic countryside of Fajolles, just 15 min from fabulous Moissac and watersports centre St Nicolas de la Grave. Toulouse (Paris of the south) only 45 min away. For longer trips the gite is ideally situated: the Pyrenees, Basque country, Dordogne, Mediterranee, Atlantic coast are all within 2-3 hr range. Ideal facilities for small parties off season, two families with children in high season and groups (painting classes, travellers for the Compostella route, etc etc). The manor house, Langans, was established in the first half of the eighteenth century as a merchant house for a well-to-do Italian family in the little hamlet Fajolles. Shops are ten minutes away. The owners will gladly provide you with your first needs on arrival. Terrace, alfresco BBQ area, secluded garden and pool.

Castelsarrasin (10 min) - nice little town with some good restaurants. Great market Thursday. Moissac (15 min) - old town with beautiful church and abbey. Good market Saturday and Sunday. Beaumont de Lomagne (15 min) - centre of garlic area. Watersports. Market Saturday. St Nicolas de la Grave (10 min) - Centre of watersports (rivers Tarn and Garonne join). Nice little museum Cadillac. Market day Monday. Montauban (25 min) - nice old centre with extensive walking area. Great shops, good restaurants. Nice cathedral and museum des Ingres Toulouse (45 min) - Paris of the south. Beautiful centre with great shops and all culture possible. Space museum and Airbus Industries are very worth while visiting. Montech (15 min) - starting point for a tour on the Canal du Midi. Do not forget to bring your bikes as the area is just great for biking (from relatively flat to steep parts). Bike renting in the area is possible.

| Notes: | The gite has its own entrance to ensure complete privacy. After entering at the end of the hall there is the former wine press room which is converted into a spacious dining room/kitchen area and a den with entrance to the terrace and swimming pool. The kitchen is equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and spin dryer. In the den a radio/CD player is available. The terrace has a large alfresco area with fixed barbeque and large dining table. Deck chairs and further furniture are plentiful. The swimming pool has Roman steps for easy access and is partly shaded by trees like bamboo and eucalyptus. A secluded garden provides full privacy. Upstairs the first floor provides three double bedrooms overlooking garden and pool (each ensuite with shower/toilet/washing basin). The second floor provides a double bedroom and a twin bedded room with a bathroom ensuite (with bath/toilet/washing basin). |

Langans is a wonderful place to stay for a relaxing holiday. A perfect combination of being lazy around the pool and in the beautiful garden or exploring the surroundings with its great diversity of places of interest nearby such as typical French markets (every day in a different town), a variety of cities with their own characteristics (Toulouse, Montauban, Castelsarrasin, Auch) and leisure facilities (golf courses and Parc Nautic).
The property itself has perfect facilities for larger groups (different families) without having the feeling of a “crowded house”. All the bedrooms are lovely decorated and each has its own bathroom. The kitchen has all necessary equipment in order to serve a proper meal and with the outdoor BBQ in the patio, typical French dinners can be easily served.
All these things combined with the hospitality of the owners Matthew and Ellen, a stay at Langans is a guarantee for an unforgettable time in a beautiful part of France.
