Traditional L-Shaped Gascon Farmhouse with stunning views of the Pyrenees. There are four generous bedrooms on the first floor, and a shower room with toilet and sink. On the ground floor is a well equipped kitchen, opening onto a covered terrace which overlooks the mountains and the 10m x 5m pool. There is also a salon and family bathroom. Outside 1.2 acres of grounds, mostly grass and young trees. There is also a games room with table tennis table.

Cantau is located in the small village of Estampures, a quiet rural location, surrounded by open farmland and wooded hillsides. There are wonderful views to the Pyrenees, about an hours drive away. The Atlantic coast is a two hour drive, and the ports of Caen and Calais are about 10 and a half hours away. The nearest big City is Toulouse, but the nearer towns of Trie sur Baise and Tarbes have all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay.

Amazing mountain views....

This place is fantastic - amazing rural location, peaceful and very relaxing with incredible mountain views. Good spacious accommodation and beautifully presented. Fabulous pool and patio area just perfect for dining 'à l'extérieur' !! Sadly we just missed the Jazz Festival in Marciac - but apparently its well worth a visit!

We had an excellent time in this property. The house was very clean and spacious and had everything we all needed to enjoy our stay. We holidayed with friends, making a total of 8 to accomodate. The grounds were spacious and well kept and the pool big enough for the children to have hours of enjoyment. The local villages provide everything you need, and whilst closing for most of the afternoon you soon get into the local rythym. Overall an excellent stay, in a beautiful location, close to shops, sleepy French villages and other attractions such as Auch and Lourdes (50kms).

Great for family holidays!!

Recommended by friends we found the house to be very spacious even though we had a party of 8 there are so many big rooms (the bathroom is huge!!). Very open spaces around the pool and very private and quiet.....even managed a day trip to the mountains so beautiful. Definately would recommend for family get together holidays or going with another family as loads of sapce. The games room was brilliant for the kids.
