Hameau du Parc is situated in Avenue de la Dune aux Loups, next door to the Equestrian Centre and near the Parc de Canche in the forest sector of Le Touquet. The house is set well back from the road, which is not normally a busy one, and has a attractive green outlook from the patio doors of the lounge. The main picture shows the back of the house - the front door is accessed via a small private lane 30 metres further on. The house is not overlooked at the front. The garden has a south eastern outlook and is separated by high hedges from the neighbouring properties. It is about 20 minutes pleasant walk to the town centre or the beach. There is an excellent restaurant only about 200 metres away,

Le Touquet’s basic style is sporty, chic and upmarket. If you are looking for good restaurants, pleasant bars and cafes, a range of shops including some very upmarket ones, a beautiful green ambience ideal for walking, jogging, cycling, roller blading or horse riding, excellent tennis, golf, or sand yachting facilities, limitless sandy beaches, & a good water sports centre, then le Touquet may be for you! Outstanding for golf with 45 holes in Le Touquet itself, 36 at Hardelot and several other courses within 90 minutes drive, Le Touquet is also convenient for La Marquenterre bird sanctuary and the Nausica Sealife Center in Boulogne. There are frequent events staged in le Touquet throughout the year ranging from music and arts festivals to fireworks conventions, kite flying and bicycle races. Le Touquet is also a good base to explore the historic attractions of the Pas de Calais & Picardy.

    2 weeks are charged at 1116 euros Off season and 1745 for 2 weeks in the High Season
  • Easter Week is charged at 800 euros/week.
  • A refundable security deposit of 200 euros is also required, payable to the agent on arrival.

    Cleaning charges of 60 euros per visit are included in the quoted prices.

Notes: Our house has a roomy L shaped lounge/dining room. There is a fully fitted kitchen with fridge and dishwasher. On the 1st floor there are two double and one twin bedrooms and a secondary sitting area on the landing. There is also a double bed settee in the lounge, but please note that the maximum occupancy is 6 people. Heating is by electric radiators. There is a WC downstairs, and a bathroom/WC and a separate shower room upstairs. A washer/drier is available in the cellier. The television receives both UK and French channels (broadcast only) & has a built in Video player. A small selection of books, videos & games is provided for guests' use. There is a driveway at the front of the house, & also a dedicated parking space at the end of the development. Please note linen is not provided.

Local regional attractions:: Montreuil sur Mer - historic walled town about 20 minutes drive away with great literary associations (Jean Valjean was its maire in Victor Hugo's Les Miserables and it was visited by Laurence Sterne). The Sept Vallees, especially the Authie Valley and Foret du Crecy - unspoilt rural France. Le Crotoy and St Valery sur Somme - attractive yachting resorts. La Marquenterre bird sanctuary - unique in France. WW1 Battlefield sites. Just outside Berck is Parc Bagatelle a distinctively French amusement park. If you get bored then Paris is a brisk 2 hours 30 minutes drive away - le Touquet is its beach after all!

Booking Arrangements: Please note that bookings must be made through Agence No 1 in Le Touquet and that they require payment in euros by cheque or bank draft. Unfortunately they cannot accept English debit or credit cards.

Golf: 45 holes at le Touquet, (La Mer - the classic championship course, La Foret - shorter and more sheltered than La Mer but a fair test of golf for most players, Le Manoir - 9 holes - advertised as the beginner's course but still quite attractive and testing). There is a driving range, good short game practice facilities, buggies available and the usual amenities. There are 36 holes at Hardelot, 36 at Nampont St Martin, an excellent 18 holes at Fort Mahon (Belle Dune), plus courses at Wimereux, Arras, St Omer, Dunquerque and Abbeville

Other Activities: sand yachting, hydrotherapy, 2 casinos, battlefields, water centre, shopping

Had a great week at this house, two kids wife and mother in law. House big enough to fit us all with no problems. Kitchen quite small but that kept the mother in law out which was a bonus. Ideal location for exploring the local area. Had a great time
