BOMY, 45 minutes from Calais. Charming well-modernised family home in a quiet friendly village near Fruges market town. Sleeps up to 7 downstairs plus a further 7 upstairs if needed. Downstairs: 3 double bedrooms (1 king size bed). 1 single bedroom + cot. Upstairs: 1 large room (fun for children) with 7 single beds. 2 excellent bathrooms. Spacious dining room (open plan to well-equipped kitchen) and sitting room, both with oak beams, open fireplaces and doors to relaxing garden including sheltered terrace and orchard. Central heating, garage, exterior WC, BBQ, garden furniture, games including table football, table tennis and children's slide. Regular and recent improvements made to property - such as all four downstairs bedrooms, and also the sitting room, dining room and kitchen, redecorated and renovated - including five new wooden double glazed windows (being all of the windows at the front of the house).

Simply a perfect holiday!

We have been to this property several times now and will definitely be back again soon. This property offers a fully equipped kitchen and is extremely comfortable. Plenty of things to do for the children from playing in the garden, nice country walks, table tennis and 30-40 minutes from the beach.

There are some lovely country roads and local places of interest to explore.

This is a perfect property to relax and spend quality time with each other and would highly recommend.

A Perfect place to relax, the house is as discribed "very nice" there is plenty to see and do with lots of restaurants.
I would recommend this holiday home to anyone and you would not be dissapointed. We will go again.

My wife and I visited this beautiful property that is situated in the quiet countryside in August 2008. The directions of 45minutes from Calais were exact and right to the front door. The facilities were better than we expected having visited various properties all over France during the last twenty years. A very clean and well maintained property and the improvements can be seen. For families with children this would be ideal. Upstairs has been converted and would be paradise for the children. If they are naughty then they can be taken down to the cellar on a night time and told ghost stories that would make their holiday so more exciting. The garden is very large with ample room for several sets of activities to take place at anyone time whilst the BBQ is being prepared. There are plenty of interesting places to visit within the region all within easy driving distance. The owner contacted us direct after our holiday to see how everything had gone and if there were any problems, none, and not many people do that. We have recommended the property to several friends and should we wish to visit this area again we would certainly consider this property again.

Had a great week at the property. Cosy, rustic and well equipped. No hidden pit-falls from what's described in the advertisement.
Nice part of France, with a good number of places of interest to visit nearby. Most suited to those wanting a relaxing holiday. Helpful & easy to deal with owners...

Quiet & rural

8 of us went for August Bank Holiday break last year (2008), 4 adults and 4 children.(1, 3, 9,15). We all had a great time. The children loved the attic room for sleeping.
The garden is fantastic for playing in - big game of cricket!
All facilities there for the baby which was so easy.
Nice quiet village, you do need a car but you would want one to go exploring as there are so many places to go to.
No TV but we loved not having it by the end of our stay!
Great kitchen/dining area so all can chat and eat.
