Right on the beach, in Trouville: after extensive renovation, we are offering two apartment suites in 'Les Roches Noires'. Both are on the ground floor, facing the sea and offer a splendid view of the beach and the setting sun through 15 feet-high french windows. You have the choice between a 40 m² apartment for two/three guests and a 80 m² apartment for four/five guests. These can be rented together as a 3-bedroom/3 bathroom apartment for up to eight guests. If additional sleeping space is needed, we can offer a separate room for two on the top floor.

The Deluxe Suite apartment has approximately 80 sq meters. Ceilings are 5.15m high. It offers two bedrooms and a bathroom on the mezzanine level and a large living room/dining room, a fully-appointed kitchen and another bathroom on the ground floor. There's extra sleeping space for 2 in the living room, for a total of six. The building has a private terrace that overlooks the beach, where you can sunbathe in peace. This terrace is one floor down, it is accessible by the building elevator. After extensive renovation, the apartment is now available for booking.

History of Les Roches Noires: Built in 1865, the Hotel des Roches Noires used to be a favourite resort for millionaires and nobility from around the world. The facade, the terrace and the magnificent Art Deco entrance hall designed by Robert Mallet Stevens are registered as historical monuments. It has inspired many artists and writers. Best known are Monet’s painting of the hotel: «L’Hotel Des Roches Noires à Trouville» and Marcel Proust’s «Remembrances of Things Past». French author Marguerite Duras lived there for her last 20 years
