Charming chalet -Normandy Coast- WALK TO THE BEACH -Perfect for Family Holidays

Set in its own grounds, in a quiet residential street, looking onto the sea, it is a very short walk to the beach. Superbly equipped with family comfort in mind, the chalet is warm, welcoming & very homely. The front room has a real open fire, satellite TV with stations in French, English & many other languages, Disney & Movie channels, DVD player, radio, books & games. The kitchen is well equipped with a cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster & coffee machine & much more! There is also a tumble drier. There is a double bedroom (4ft db bed), 1 with single bunk beds & sofa bed in the lounge. In the children's room, there is a TV playing Dvds (English & French Dvds can be played on this TV). We have a cot & a bed bar for small children to sleep in the bed. The bathroom has an electrically heated shower. The chalet has electric heaters & double glazed windows. The garden is large, laid to lawn & self-contained. There are 2 terraces – 1 in front & 1 on the back.

The chalet is a short walk to the beach at Criel-Plage which has a children’s play area, paddling pool, boules area, table tennis and a basket ball court. There is a lifeguard on duty in summer months and although it’s not bay watch, it’s nice to know they are there. Round and about you’ll find plenty of things to do, the Royal town of Eu is minutes away, Rouen is a town not to be missed, Veules les Roses is very charming and the breathtaking beauty of the beaches and wildlife reserves of the Somme are very close by and worth the trip. The fishing town of Le Treport is 5 minutes away and opposite the beach and harbour there are some fantastic seafood restaurants, and a casino as well as informal cafes and bars, and best of all - a fantastic fisherman’s market selling fresh fish caught that day. There are plenty of local shops in Criel, including a supermarket and 10 minutes away is a large hypermarket, handy for stocking up before the trip home. Email us for details of our website.

A perfect getaway

This is a lovely little chalet in wonderful part of France. Easily accessed from Calais, it has everything you could possibly need.

There are great cliff walks, splendid beaches, and many interesting towns within a short drive. Le Treport, Eu, Mer-les-Bains and St Valery-sur-Somme are all well worth a visit.

Criel itself is quiet and great for kids, with a very good restaurant within easy walking distance if you want to stay close to home.

Thoroughly recommended.
