Le Maréchal - Grandeur & Comfort. The Maréchal is named after the Maréchal de Bellefonds and occupies the entire bel-étage (first floor). It commands delightful views across the Norman countryside. 3 bedrooms. 3 bathrooms. Sleeps up to 9. One double with extra bed, one twin room and one double with double bed and 2 singles. Bedrooms are large. The Maréchal has exclusive use of the original stone staircase. On one side of the staircase is the up to date kitchen and the third bathroom. On the other side of the staircase lies the large dining / drawing room which is painted a delicate shade of antique rose and can easily accommodate ten for dinner.

This place is a real hidden gem and should not be missed if travelling in the area. We stayed in the 3 bed roomed annex which is spacious, beautifully decorated and clean. The owners are extremely helpful and nothing is too much for them. Their knowledge of local restaurants & sights is second to none. They even managed to get us a booking at the Hotel La Marine. A must visit restaurant which now rates as one of my top ten in the world. A great venue for a quiet getaway.
