Les Deserts our Beautifully Restored Country Cottage
Les Deserts our beautifully restored cottage is situated next to a pine forest, it offers a haven of peace and tranquillity whilst still being close to all of Normandy's attractions. An ideal base for a family or romantic holiday. it offers all round panoramic views with a large south facing garden which has a plunge pool and sunny terrace with gazebo, table & chairs and BBQ . Inside the cottage benefits from exposed oak beams, granite fireplace with large wood burner for cooler nights, Satellite TV and DVD (large selection of films & surround-sound ). The open plan kitchen is fully equipped to make your holiday more comfortable with dishwasher, washing machine, gas hob and oven etc. The master bedrooms have double beds and the third is a twin with TV & Video , all are pleasantly furnished. Situated in the beautiful Normandy countryside, on the edge of 3 regions Calvados, Orne & Mance, Les Deserts is the perfect location for discovering all that Normandy has to offer. | Notes: | One of the double bedrooms has a very comfortable single sofa bed sleeping a seventh person if required, a cot, highchair and baby bath are also available, and baby linen can also be supplied if required. |
The Garden
Les Deserts stands in it's own large and well maintained gardens, with beautiful views of the countryside. The south facing terrace has a lovely view of the neighboring forest. it is a beautiful place to sit and relax any time of year, you may also be able to spot some of the local wildlife including, Deer, Red Squirrels & Hares and many different kinds of bird, and if you are lucky Wild Boar. there is a gazebo with table & chairs/ Barbecue and plenty of outdoor lights for dining alfresco. To cool of in the summer months there is a large wooden plunge pool, and sun loungers, and for our younger guests there is a sandpit, and a selection of garden toys ( A small Paddling pool is available for toddlers).

we have enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the garden, the house is very well designed and decorated, and we felt at home immediately . Les Deserts location allowed us to thoroughly relax, but it is also close enough to many attractions. we have never been to this area before but we will return as we have had a fantastic holiday-Stuart & Estelle 2006
We have stayed in many many gites but this one is definitely the best so far- The Chapman's 2006
