Photos and Description of this Manche holiday cottage A self-catering cottage. Sleeps 6. Ideally situated for the D-Day beaches.

This was an old farm cottage built over 300 years ago. Set in a courtyard with fish pond, barns and owners house. Now updated, but retaining some of its features from the past. The ground floor has a large kitchen/dining room with all the crockery, cutlery and utensils that you will need. The kitchen is fully fitted with a cooker, fridge, washing machine, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and microwave oven. The lounge has a wood burning heater and English T.V. Both rooms have beamed ceilings and tiled floors. The first floor comprises of 3 bedrooms and a shower room with toilet.1st bedroom has a double bed, 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds, 3rd bedroom has full-size bunk beds. Cot, highchair and baby bath are available on request. There is a private garden set behind the barn for your use with garden table and chairs and a BBQ on request. Bed/cot linen is provided but not towels.

La Campagne is in the small farming commune of Nay, which is situated in 'Le Parc Naturel' of the Manche area of Normandy. It's an area of beautiful beaches, history and culture. Lush green fields and quiet country lanes, ideally suited to walking/cycling enthusiasts surround the cottage. Furthermore its conveniently situated for: beautiful long safe sandy beaches. The D-Day landing beaches. museums of wartime memorabilia, local arts and crafts. The famous bayeux tapestry, magnificent cathedrals of coutances and carentan. We are surrounded with market towns. Day visits to Mont St Michel and from Granville a short ferry trip to Jersey.

We had a lovely stay, with very welcoming hosts. Nice quiet location, but near enough to beaches and towns. The children loved the animals, and space. Property well stocked and clean. Just had to ask for advice, help etc. Would recommend. Oh, and take ferry to Cherbourg if you can. Calais is a long drive!

Lovely family accomodation set in quiet coutry courtyard adjoining owners property with access to own secluded garden including BBQ facilities. The property is beautifully maintained and the owners are very friendly and have plenty of ideas to make your stay enjoyable. Our family of six have had two lovely breaks there in the last couple of years and would recommend this accomodation to anybody seeking the perfect location between the Normandy landing beaches and Mont Saint Michel. With plenty of cafes and restaurants in nearby Perier. The cottage provides everything you could require for a great family holiday.
