Le Moulin de Cunes is a 200 year old farmhouse which has been recently renovated, keeping the original features but providing modern comfort. There are four double bedrooms upstairs, the fifth bedroom is on the ground floor with its own shower room and outdoor access. The kitchen is 37 meters squared and the hub of the house. There is a separate room for the television, we call it the kids snug. This leaves the sitting room for reading, relaxing or chatting in. The log burner is highly efficient and during the winter months warms the house downstairs perfectly (there is full central heating if required) It is based in the middle of farming land which is used primarily for dairy herds. This gives the feeling of vast expanses of land around you. It is a very tranquil location with the freedom to walk for miles and enjoy rural France. The local village is 3km away and has a restaurant, bakery, small shop, butchers, pharmacy and post office.

Notes to the rental rates

• All laundry is included with a weekly change if you book for more than one week. Daily housekeeping is available if required at an additional cost of £15 per day. An additional charge of £50 per week will be charged if the central heating or wood burner is used.

Golf enthusiasts

There is a fantastic golf course on the banks of Lac de Dathee, just ten minutes drive away. Further golf courses are found in both Granville and Avranches. If you are a golf widow or widower then Lac de Dathee offers amazing views and a scenic walk around the lake. There is a very friendly club house serving hot/cold drinks and snacks.

Outdoor activiites

AJ Hacketts, the original bungee jumping experience, is a mere twenty minutes away and offers a fun day out for all ages, even if you don't want to jump! There is a great indoor pool in Vire with outdoor sun beds, great for the kids. Pont Farcy offers canoeing for all ages, just 5 kms set in idyllic countryside. La Renarderie is a well know local equestrian centre with fantastic facilities for children and adults. They are very welcoming and cater to all ages and abilities.
