La Cour aux Granges consists of two cottages set in 5 acres of private meadows with lawned gardens and a small fishing lake, situated on the outskirts of the village of St Julien le Faucon 10 minutes from Lisieux in Calvados. Honfleur and the beaches of Deauville and Trouville are just 40 minutes drive. St Julien le Faucon has a baker, butcher, pharmacy, mini-market, bars and a gourmet restaurant, all within easy walking distance of the houses.

La Maison d’Amis of La Cour aux Granges has its own garden facing away from the main house with standing for a car and a barbecue area with table and chairs. The ground floor of the main house has a 42m2 living and dining area, which incorporates the kitchen corner. The kitchen is well equipped with cooker and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with 3 single beds, one of which pulls out into a double bed, and the other with a double bed. All beds are supplied with duvets, pillows and covers. There is a shower room and WC adjacent. The house benefits from central heating throughout.

Swiss Normandy is half an hour’s distance just beyond William the Conqueror's home town of Falaise. Historians may also wish to visit the Bayeux Tapestry. Nearer in the same direction, at St Pierre sur Dives, there is a huge market every Monday - just 15 minutes away. St Julien le Faucon is just 40 minutes from the ferry at Ouistreham Caen and the same distance from the famous beaches of Deauville and Trouville, the Cote Fleurie and the old port of Honfleur. To the west lie the D-Day landing beaches and the museums and memorials of the second world war.
