Our house is a 200 year old Normandy farmhouse located in the heart of the Bocage and close to the beaches. It has recently been sympathetically renovated to a high standard, and offers comfortable and spacious accommodation for 8 people. It is in a secluded location 1km outside of the village of Roncey, and has a large south facing garden. The house has 3 large double bedrooms, 2 singles and a bathroom, all on the first floor. There is a separate shower room on the ground floor, and a large, fully-equipped kitchen, a sitting room with log burning fire, and child's playroom. There are CD players, and a TV/DVD. The garden has a lovely view, yet remains private, and there are recliners and a table and chairs for eating al fresco. There is modern central heating. The house is ideal for a family relaxing in the Normandy countryside, and is well-placed for the expansive beaches of western Manche, as well as the extensive activities and sights of beautiful Normandy.

Notes to the rental rates

• All bedlinen, towels, electricity and gas are included. A refundable security deposit of £300 is required upon reservation or one month before the rental period, whichever is the sooner. The house should be left ready for its next guests; cleaning is available for 65 euros, paid locally. If central heating or logs are required there will be a charge of 75 euros PW, paid locally (it is a big house to heat).

Golf Information:

There are superb courses at Granville, Avranches, Lac de Lathee, Hauteville and elsewhere. There are alternative activities such as walks and the beaches in close proximity to all of these courses for golf widows and orphans.
