Studio at Villa Caprice

This enchanting studio, once the principle salon of the old villa, looks out to a terrace and over the garden towards the marina and sea. The romantic apartment is spacious, elegantly furnished and very comfortable for 2. It is light and bright with very high ceilings and a huge bay window facing south. There are French doors to a west facing terrace and steps lead down to the gated, enclosed, mature garden planted with roses, bamboo and palms. The garden is exclusive to the apartment. Villa Caprice is in the heart of old Deauville and most activities and all your shopping needs are within a few minute's walking distance. Deauville Beach in a one minute walk. Here you will find Deauville marina, sailing, jet skiing, sailing, wind surfing etc plus some very good cafes and restaurants. The polo ground and race course are a 5 minute walk. 2 golf courses are about a 10 minute drive - St Gatien and the Golf Hotel. Top horse racing and polo in August and the American film Festival in Sept.

Studio at Villa Caprice

The charming apartment is very well furnished and appointed with French antiques and local Brocante. There is now a new, very comfortable, large double bed - queen size - 150cm - in the apartment. There is a living area with a two seater sofa and 2 comfortable armchairs, TV and CD player. There is a dining area which seats four. The pretty, separate kitchen is petite but fully equipped with dishwasher and washing machine, new cooker and microwave. The bathroom has bath and walk in shower. The terrace which faces west has a wrought iron table and chairs and a wrought iron bench. The wonderful garden has 2 wrought iron tables and chairs, sun loungers and an antique gazebo and BBQ. The garden is great for outdoor dining. Parasols and garden cushions are available.

Villa caprice is in the heart of stylish Deauville, made famous by the French impressionists, and everything is within walking distance. One minute to Deauville beach and its famous boardwalk, classic colourful umbrellas and cafes and restaurants, 1 minute to the marina, 5 minutes to the racecourse and polo ground, 5 minutes to Deauville yacht club, 1 minute to the famous Normandy and royal hotels and 2 to 3 minutes to all restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, the place Morny and market.

Golf Information:

There are two 18 hole golf courses within 10 minutes drive one is at the golf hotel on the hills behind Deauville with stunning views of the coast and the surrounding countryside. The other is near St Gatien airport and has a excellent club house and restaurant.
