There are four Ski Schools in the resort. Two British and two French: BASS Avoriaz, BASS Morzine, Ecole du Ski Francais, International Ski and Snowboard School, Morzine Ski School. Ski Equipment -
We have an arrangement with the local ski hire shop. All our guests benefit from a 10% discount.
Non Skiers
There is an Olympic sized skating rink, two cinemas with English films during the winter season. Tobogganing, Sleigh riding, Skidoos, Paragliding - the list is endless
Summer:
Morzine, more than just Skiing Holiday's
Swimming Pool and facilities: Morzine boasts an Olympic sized outside swimming pool, with adjoining children’s pool and a separate play pool for the young ones. There is also a water slide and plunge pool. Around the pool area there are extensive gardens and picnic areas.
Mountain Biking: The Porte du Soleil region of Morzine is famous for mountain biking. There is a permanent downhill course and numerous trails for all ability levels. The trails can be accessed from the ski lifts. Major downhill events are held each summer. Quality bikes can be hired locally.
Walking and Hiking: With or without guides, easy to strenuous in some of the most spectacular scenery in the Alps.
Canyoning: A great adventure for all the family. Abseil, slide and jump your way down a gorge and waterfalls and plunge into rock pools.
White Water Rafting: The River Dranse offers a truly fabulous white water trip - hard paddling, rough water, big waves, swirling eddies, dodging rocks and rapid descents.
Paragliding: Morzine is renowned for paragliding and major events are often held here. You can join a course at the ‘parapente’ school in Morzine and learn to fly yourself or take a 25 minute flight with an instructor.
Bunjee Jumping
Golf: From May to October the Haute-Savoie Alps are a golfer’s paradise. Superb golf courses set amidst some of the most beautiful and spectacular scenery in Europe.The two local courses are at Les Gets and Avoriaz. There are also courses at Chamonix, Flaine, Megeve and the Royal Club at Evian, which overlooks Lake Geneva and is one of the finest clubs in France.
Ice Skating: World class ice rink - Torvill and Dean have skated at this superb Olympic sized rink.
Court Sports: Tennis, Squash, and many more green field courts.
