The Loft is in a tranquil location on the Mont Chery side of the valley. A huge picture window in the living area offers stunning views across the village towards the Chavannes. In summer, it is light and airy, with outdoor living space including a terrace and grassed area on the ground floor and, on the first floor, a wide balcony accessed through sliding patio doors from the dining room / kitchen. In winter, the chalet has the benefit of a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings. One/two double bedrooms, two further twin bedrooms and 2 bunk rooms. The Chalet is only 10 mins walk to all village amenities and the main Chavannes lifts. Hire your skis and boots from a shop opposite the lifts and leave them there overnight to dry.There is also a garage for safe storage for equipment. We can assist with ski or bike hire, airport transfers, lift passes and, in winter, ski lessons and child care. Contact us for a plan showing the chalet's location in the village.

Les Gets dates from the 11th century and its name refers to the passages between the trees through which wood is transported to this day by the foresters. In the summer, the area is lush with trees and flowered meadows and criss-crossed by walking and mountain bike tracks. In winter, it is a popular skiing resort with slopes for skiers of all abilities and part of the huge inter-linked Portes du Soleil, the largest skiing area in the world. The many lifts serve not only skiers, but a smaller network is also adapted to carry bikes in summer. Les Gets is only 30 miles from Thonon on Lac Leman (Lake Geneva), with opportunity for water sports and for exploring the cities and towns along the lakeside - from Geneva and the lovely medieval village of Yvoire in the south to Evian, Montreux and Lausanne in the north. Other sightseeing possibilities include the historic town of Annecy with its lake and canals, and Chamonix with Mont Blanc and the impressive Aiguille du Midi cable car.
