Winter:
'Le Belvedere' is a 10 minute walk from the village or the frequent (every 15-20 mins.) free buses go, from just below the chalet, into the centre and from there to Linga and Pre le Joux where you can link into the vast (over 650kms. of pisted runs) Portes du Soleil ski area. There are large car parks also available (it pays to arrive early in high season!) and the 'luge' run at Pre le Joux is a 'must' for the adventurous of all ages! There are numerous, traditional restaurants, both on the slopes and in and around the village to please all tastes.
Summer:
There are a number of ski-lifts open in the summer ( you can even take your bikes up on them!) and more than 240km of signposted trails for walkers and mountain bikers, including the world cup bike courses at Morzine and Les Gets. As well as all the other traditional mountain activities in the area (tennis, swimming, fishing and horse riding) there are also the luge, mini golf, archery, paragliding, white water rafting and canoeing (near Thonon) and golf (a variety of courses around Lac Leman/Lake Geneva). Take a drive to explore Evian, Thonon or the medieval village of Yvoire; or the steamer over to Lausanne or Geneva; or drive further around the lake to see Chateau Chillon or the salt mines at Bex; there is so much to see and do!
Other Activities:
ten-pin bowling, toboggan run
