The price includes bed linen and towels which are provided in the apartment and towels. End of stay cleaning is also included (except the kitchen area and washing up) as well as 2 dishcloths and 1 x cleaning kit as well as a television. Cots and highchairs are available from reception (subject to availability and payable) and must be reserved at the time of booking. Please note that the descriptions are for indication only and may vary slightly from the actual apartments in resort. Also please note that some of the apartments on higher floors may be situated under the eaves.
Avoriaz :
Is a truly international and family resort. It forms part of the Portes du Soleil ski area (650km of ski runs) in the Northern French Alps. This purpose built resort is set in dramatic scenery above the more traditional Morzine and has a spectacular cliff top setting and great access to the skiing. The resort is traffic free, so snow cats or horse drawn sleighs transport your luggage to your accommodation. Apres ski is lively and non skiers are well catered for, there is a health centre with amenities, squash, cinema, and a bowling alley. Para gliding, hangliding, dog sleigh rides and snowshoe excursions are also among the activities on offer.

By Air: Geneva Airport - approx. 1hr 30mins transfer. By Train: Cluses or Thonon station - Bus or taxi to resort. By Car: Autoroute to Geneva. Autoroute Blanche (A40) to Cluses and then follow signs to Morzine.
Ski:
Most of the skiers in Avoriaz are intermediates enjoying the vast skiing of the Portes du Soleil, which means that there is plenty of room for beginners in the resort to learn in relative seclusion. For more advanced skiers there are several good long black runs including a former World Cup downhill to Les Prodains and 'The Wall' an imposing mogul field. We are able to pre book BASS (British Alpine Ski School) in Avoriaz, They offer a wide range of Ski, Snowboard and Adaptive courses catering in particular for intermediate skiers who wish to improve their style or to move into more adventurous skiing off piste. Contact the office for more details, The 355 pistes which cover 650km comprise 49 green, 109 blue, 110 red and 29 black runs.
