A 4 bedroom traditional chalet located on the lower road in Chatel 3 minutes drive from the Linga lift station. It benefits from having a lovely big garden backing onto the river Dranse. The free ski bus stops outside the chalet. *Ground floor - garage with sufficient space to store skis and mountain bikes, giving access to a laundry/drying room with shower. Stairs to first floor. *First floor - entrance hall with WC off. Open plan well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Open plan dining area with huge pine table and lounge area with open log fire (logs included) and double doors to balcony. Small TV, DVD, video, CD player. There is plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. * second floor - bedroom 1 and 2 are doubles with double door access to the balcony. Bedroom 3 has twin beds. Bedroom 4 has bunk beds (children only on top!) and a single bed. All the bedrooms have good clothes storage Also on this floor is the family bathroom with bath with shower over.

Chatel is in the extensive Portes du soleil ski region - in total some 650 km of pisted runs crossing the Swiss border and back taking in around12 resorts including Avoriaz, Morzine and Les Crosets with its infamous Wall. Great off piste to investigate as well as snow and fun parks. The skiing is truly endless. During the summer months there is extensive walking and mountain biking trails. Tennis - there are 8 courts within a 10 minute walk. There is a large open air pool in Chatel, river rafting and canyoning are a 30 mintute drive away. The lovely towns of Evian and Thonon are both within a 40 minute drive with access onto lake Geneva with sailing and beach side activities available.

Very warm and roomy accommodation. Friendly and helpful manager and owners. Sep Shower downstairs and family bathroom upstairs. Two toilets in the house. Large garage for ski stuff. Overall very good
