Angelique also has a cabine with bunk beds and Pierre has a third bed in 2 rooms + sofa bed. Both have fully fitted Kitchens, Sitting rooms with Fireplaces and doors to large covered Terraces. Angelique can seat 16 in the dining area. Both have integral Garage with washing machine and tumble dryer. Chalet 'B' Babar situated opposite sleeps 8-10 people in 4 Twin or double bedrooms, 1 bunk bedroom, 2 Bathrooms, 2 shower rooms + 2 extra WCs. Siting room with wood burning stove and doors to large covered Terrace, Dining area with seating for 10 people, fully fitted Kitchen. Double Garage and utility room. Angelique is a semi-detached chalet built in 1998 on 3 floors. Lower floor has an integrel Garage with wasing machine, tumble dryer and sink + storage room for skis, boots etc. Entrance hall with a twin/double bedroom with ensuite shower room. Cabine with bunk beds, stairs to next level with large open plan Sitting room with open fireplace, dining area with seating for up to 16 people, communicating door to Pierre, fully fitted Kitchen with electric cooker & hob, sink, built in fridge & dishwasher, good range of base and wall units. WC with toilet and basin, stairs to top floor having 2 double/twin bedrooms, one with ensuite shower room and the other having ensuite bathroom and room for cot. Notes to the rental rates

• Clients may deduct 10% discount if they have rented our chalets before OR if booking 2 or more consecutive weeks (ONLY ONE 10% DISCOUNT CAN APPLY PER BOOKING)
  Prices per week include local taxes and electricity up to 200kws.
  Summer 2008 prices range from £750 - £1000 per unit/chalet per week
  Winter 2009 prices range from £850 - £2300 per unit/chalet per week
  Out of season 2008 prices range from £400 - £600 per unit/chalet per week
  
• Linen and towels can be hired for a supplement of £15 per person per week. Doubles include 2 sheets and 4 pillowcases, Singles 2 sheets and 2 pillow cases, one bath towel per person is provided. For clients staying more than one week a further supplement of £15 per person is required if they wish to have fresh linen and towels for the second week
  Free cot and high chair are available on request but clients need to bring their own linen for the cot.
  A selection of EVENING MEALS can be ordered and delivered to the door (for a minimum of 4 persons and with at least 24hrs notice) Contact us for a menu and prices
  
• Bookings are from Saturday at 15.00hrs (3pm) until 10.00hrs on the Saturday of departure.

Extra Facilities

EVENING MEALS - A selection of menus can be ordered and delivered to the chalet from our neighbours Jean-Francois and Dominique who used to run Le Cofi restaurant in Les Gets (For a minimum of 4 persons an ordered at least 24hrs in advance) or alternatively the chef will come and cook a meal in the chalet, bringing all ingredients with him. Contact us for Menu and prices Airport transfers can be arranged with local firms but car hire is recommended. Ski passes can also be purchased in advance. Beginners probably only need a Les Gets and Morzine Pass but more experienced skiers would be better to book the whole Portes du Soleil Pass. There are local French & English ski schools in the village and peak holiday weeks it is advisable to book in advance, this can be done by phone or online. The village also has a creche for smaller children and babies.

Other activities

Apart from skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing & ice skating and Paragliding available in the winter there is a full range of summer activities. There is a lake 2 minutes walk from the chalet, which has a shallow beach area roped off for toddlers as well as a water slide. During the French school summer holidays there is a small charge by the day to cover the cost of the lifeguards. There is an 18 hole golf course with wonderful views of Mont Blanc. The Pony Club offering children’s rides is just behind the chalet plus an Adventure Park set in the trees behind the lake with its high ropes course. There is downhill karting from the village centre lifts & of course a full range of moutain biking tracks to suit all abilities. White water rafting available nearby & can be booked in the village, check with Tourist Office for details. Of course walking is another popular activity, giving a chance to take in the stunning scenery or there are many local areas of interest to visit by car.

Les Gets is an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding area with its stunning mountain scenery, many attractive alpine villages nearby with selection of shops and restaurants. Lake Geneva and Lake Annecy both have swimming and many water sports activities and boat/ferry rides and are will worth a trip in Summer and both within an hours drive. There are also several mountain passes although closed in winter in summer offer spectacular views and well worth the drive.

Skiing Information:

Ski In & Ski Out (snow permitting, snow canons on routes back to chalet) it is an easy run from the chalet down to the main telecabin and lifts in the centre of Les Gets and it is possible to ski back from the Chavannes pistes by the lake or from the Yeti/Ranfolly runs. There is also a free navette bus to the other lifts in Les Gets. The ski hire shop passed on the way up to the chalet offers a discount to our clients. The Portes du Soleil is one of the largest ski areas in France and it is also possible to ski on into Switzerland. There are French and English ski schools in Les Gets. The French ski school will take children for the day and for an extra charge can provide lunch and indoor afternoon activities for children too young to ski all day. Also a creche for babies and toddlers in the Town Hall or Kindercare.
