Les Eglantines - Modern and spacious chalet - sleeps 8-10
Les Eglantines is in a tranquil location on the Mont Chery side of the valley and has been refurbished to a high standard in a cool, modern style. On the first floor, a double set of French doors lead onto the balcony, offering stunning views across the village towards the Chavannes. In summer, the chalet is light and airy. In winter, it has the benefit of a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings. There is ample accommodation provided over three floors by three double bedrooms & one twin. One very large double bedroom includes two single beds, making it an ideal family room. The Chalet is only 10 mins walk to the village shops, bars and restaurants and 15 mins walk to the Chavannes & Mont Chery telecabine. Experienced skiers can ski back to the chalet on the Mont Chery black run and, with a short walk, all abilities can ski out to the Mont Chery telecabine.

Les Gets dates from the 11th century and its name refers to the passages between the trees through which wood is transported to this day by the foresters. In the summer, the area is lush with trees and flowered meadows and criss-crossed by walking and mountain bike tracks. In winter, it is a popular skiing resort with slopes for skiers of all abilities and part of the huge inter-linked Portes du Soleil, the largest skiing area in the world. The many lifts serve not only skiers, but a smaller network is also adapted to carry bikes in summer. Les Gets is only 30 miles from Thonon on Lac Leman (Lake Geneva), with opportunity for water sports and for exploring the cities and towns along the lakeside - from Geneva and the lovely medieval village of Yvoire in the south to Evian, Montreux and Lausanne in the north. Other sightseeing possibilities include the historic town of Annecy with its lake and canals, and Chamonix with Mont Blanc and the impressive Aiguille du Midi cable car.

Payment may be made by credit card (2.5% transaction fee), debit card (no fee) or bank transfer (no fee). Cheques are not accepted.
We take a 25% deposit and the balance (or full rental rate) is payable not less than 8 weeks before the date of arrival.
Cots and highchairs are available to rent for 10 euros each per week.

| Notes: | Winter notes:- We can arrange airport transfers, and advise on and assist with ski hire, ski lessons, lift passes and child care. Linen and towels are included in the rental rate. Summer notes:- During the summer, the swimming lake is open. It is set in parkland near the Adventure Park, together with a children's playground, bungy jump, sand volleyball court and pony rides. The Petit Train may be taken from outside the Mont Chery telecabine to the lake. Only linen is included in the rental rate and towels are not provided.
