Chalet Verchin combines modern comfort with Savoyarde charm and is 15 minutes from the sophisticated market town of Morzine and 1 hour from Geneva airport. The chalet is south facing with a large wrap-round terrace for outdoor dining and sun bathing. The chalet has a spacious dining and lounge area with seating for up to 12. There are extensive mountain views from 3 sets of French windows. A cosy log fire and satellite TV/DVD provide an excellent setting for relaxation. There are 2 double bedrooms with king size beds and balconies, 1 queen double, 2 twin bedrooms and 1 double sofa bed in a room that can be used as a second lounge area. The chalet has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and microwave. On the ground floor there is a garage , seperate laundry area and seperate drying room. This prevents the chalet from becoming cluttered, particularly during the ski season. There is ample parking for 3 cars and the chalet is located only 50m from the main village road.

I feel very reluctant to tell people how wonderful this chalet is. Why reluctant? because more people will want to use it and then it will be more difficult to get the weeks that I want!
Seriously though it really is a lovely chalet with a beautiful views. The chalet itself is very well fitted out with every facility ie loads of pots, pans, cutlery, cleaning stuff, plenty of seating, under floor heating, huge balcony with BBQ. I could go on.
The location is also great being in the mountains but also only 30 minutes from Lac Leman.
As that cereal advert says on TV. " It's nice, but you won't like it!"
