The Chalet:
The chalet is built in the traditional manner using burnt timber and copper piping, yet has all the modern conveniences such as underfloor heating and heated boot-warmers. There is a huge open fireplace to sit and relax in the evening after you have explored the slopes and all the rooms are very luxurious and full of charm and character. This really is a unique place, a total one off, and we know you will want to return again and again!.
Other amenities:
Morzine village has a huge amount to offer both in winter and summer. Within 5 minutes of the chalet, you have access to a huge ski area, ice rink, parapenting, indoor climbing wall, toboggan runs, and horse drawn sleigh rides in the winter and in the summer, within 5 minutes, you have access to mountain biking, walking, horse riding, white water rafting, parapenting, tennis, swimming in both the outdoor pool and local lakes, golf and many beautiful sites to visit nearby, such as the historic town of Yvoire on the banks of Lake Geneva and Annecy.
Ski:
Morzine is in the heart of the huge Portes du Soleil ski area, which rivals the three valleys in size and gives you access to an amazing choice of slopes to explore both in France and in Switzerland. The area suits all levels from total beginners to expert and is ideally suited to mixed ability groups. It is a pretty ski area with lots of tree line skiing as well as plenty of off piste to explore for the more advanced skiers. In total you have over 600km of pistes to explore, and I guarantee you will want to return.
