L’Aire de L’Aigle (The Eagle’s Nest) is an exclusive alpine chalet set 3.5km above Morzine in The Vallee de la Manche, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Privately owned, it will only be available for rent (on a self-catered basis) for a few weeks of the year. The chalet was completed in 2002 and is constructed from traditional materials : old wood, hand cut stone, large slate tiles and rustic plaster. No expense has been spared to create one of the most stunning properties in the Alps in a beautiful valley. For more information, please ask us for our website address.

Notes: All bedrooms and bathrooms have been individually designed. There are 4 doubles and 3 twins. 2 of the twins can be converted to double beds. These same rooms can also be linked to 2 of the doubles to create family suites (each with 2 bathrooms) There are four remotely controlled garages. You can enter the house direct from the garages straight into the large ski room where you have boot warmers, ski racks, shoe racks, a coat hanging area, and a drying cupboard. The living area (sofas and armchairs) has a 3m wide fireplace and a 5m high vaulted wooden roof. A glass wall 10m long and 5m high exposes a dramatic mountain vista. The dining area has an oak dining table that seats 16. There is a wide screen television, DVD and video recorder all with surround sound. Satellite reception is also possible. The kitchen has granite work surfaces double ovens, two fridge/freezers, two dishwashers and a large walk-in larder. The huge cellar is ideal for children and has table tennis.
