The apartment is situated in the heart of Alpe D'Huez and is approx. 3/4 min. walk from the nearest ski lift/slope, ski shops, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, discos, swimming pools, ice rink, mini golf, launderette, sports centre. The apartment has been newly refurbished to a very high standard (2004) and benefits from having a bunk room, double room with 2 single beds and pull down bunk beds in hallway and so can therefore accommodate 6 persons comfortably. The apartment has new fitted kitchen and new bathroom and wooden effect floors. The apartment has a terrace area and also has a cave for ski storage.

Alpe d'huez is one of France's top 5 ski resort. It has excellent snow record and offers fabulous skiing. There are over 250kms of prepared pistes served by some 88 interlinked lifts of all types. BEGINNERS The slopes are extensive with first rate progression. There are numerous long easy runs and a separate patrolled nursery area. ADVANCED The 16km sarenne is the longest black run in the Alps starting from the summit of Pic Blanc at 3330m. INTERMEDIATE Ample cruising runs to keep the most adventurous occupied. SNOWBOARDING Own snowboard fun park with quarter pipe and extensive selection of jumps and kickers. Boarders will find lots of challenge on the resorts range of red and blue runs and also the half pipe on the signal run for big air jumps. APRES Lots of cafes, bars and discos and over 40 restaurants to choose from.

Alpe D'Huez is also great for all types of biking. The tour de France use alpe d'huez as there mountain climb some years. The Etape is also held here and also La Marmotte and Megavalanche. At the bottom of the mountain is Bourg d'oisans which is a lovely little town and not far from here you can do water rafting.
