EASTER STILL AVAILABLE IN 3RD FLOOR APT. The 3rd flr apt sleeps 4/5 + a cot in 2 bedrooms and enjoys Mont Blanc views from the living room balcony. The bed arrangements are totally flexible. The 4 main single beds zip together to make doubles, ideal for couples, and there's a spare mattress for the occasional 5th guest + a proper cot. Ground floor ski locker. The ground floor apartment has a double room & 2 bunk rooms so sleeps 6 in total with a spacious kitchen and living/dining room with table for 6. Brand new bathroom as of April '08. Travel cot available too. Both apartments are fully equipped as you'd expect with full cooking facilities, more dish ware than you'd ever need + dishwashers, washing machines, kettles, toasters, stereos, TV/DVDs, broadband, SKY. Central location just minutes walk from Chamonix centre,main bus station & Augillle du Midi cable car. Linen is INCLUDED. There are no extras for cleaning, linen, utilities or taxes! Great value in pounds. Pay by card.

Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms. Situated on the ground floor of Residence Le Belgique, a 1930's converted hotel, this ground floor flat provides spacious and comfortable accommodation for 6 - no sofa beds or pull outs! Everyone gets the privacy of a proper bed. Includes a double bedroom and 2 twin bunk bedded rooms. There is a roomy & cosy living/dining room with TV/DVD//CD stereo and a large fully equipped kitchen with 4 ring electric hob, full sized single electric oven, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer and microwave. A generous supply of dish ware for 12 is provided for convenience + of course there's a dishwasher (and washing machine). There are 4 full sized cupboards & large overhead shelves to provide more than enough storage space for long term guests. This is a home away from home. Great central location yet quiet residential area a few minutes walk from everything you need - bus station, ski lifts, shopping, bars etc. A new bathroom was fitted in '08. Great value for 6.

Both apartments are in central Chamonix. The address is 338 Ave Ravanel Le Rouge, which is the continuation of the 'high street' Rue du Docteur Paccard, which heads WEST of town, down to Lac Gailland and the climbing crags. Residence le Belgique is 200m from the start of the shops and bars on the corner (and up around the corner is the Prieure Hotel, for those who know Chamonix). We are opposite the Gite Vagabond, and around the corner from the main bus terminal and the bowling alley. It's a 10 minute walk to the Auguille du Midi cable car station. We are truly in Chamonix, not in the suburbs or Les Houches! We're in the middle of grid C5 on the Chamoinx town map. If you want access to great shopping, bars & restaurants then you want to be in Chamonix and based where you can walk in the evenings for a night out. Taxis are very expensive and rarely available if you end up further out of town and don't want to drink and drive.

All you pay is the stated weekly let in POUNDS. Please note that this is a no smoking apartment. There is a children's cot available free of charge by prior arrangement (no cot linen provided). Season or long term lets attract a discount - please enquire!
  • £300 payment due to make a reservation. Balance payment + £300 security deposit due 8 weeks before to confirm all bookings. Payment arrangements may differ for season lets. For weekly rentals the rate includes final cleaning of apartment and linen. Phone, with answering machine available free for incoming calls & outgoing emergency calls, free internet dial up accounts or phone card outgoing calls. Chamonix is an unbelievable mountain town - not at all like a typical purpose built resort. Steeped in history - from alpine climbing to the Olympics. The apartment is minutes walk from the bustling town centre, dozens of bars and restaurants, discos, shops and the Brevent & Auguille du Midi cable cars. Enjoy awesome views of Mont Blanc and the Brevent ski face from the apartment. There's a great mix of ski terrain from town centre blues & reds to the deepest and steepest off-piste slopes.

Geneva airport is a short 60 mile transfer away (easily arranged) or the motorway/ peage virtually runs to the door from Calais for Brits who drive. The main bus terminal is a 5 minute walk away so you don't need a car once to explore the town and shop etc. Chamonix is an outstanding venue year-round! Don't be fooled into booking a property for your precious holiday that is in some obscure corner of the Chamonix valley and NOT in the town centre area where you have access to apres ski, restaurants, nightlife and shopping.

Summer details: Chamonix’s a year-round adventure play ground. You can walk, climb (any style to any standard), paraglide, hang glide, parachute (45 minutes away), mountain bike, fish, golf, party, eat, go bowling, swim, play tennis, dance at nightclubs, sight see, break out the water colour paints or gamble at the casino! It is all here for you.

Very practical, clean (bathroom is new) and a friendly owner. It can easily accommodate a large group of people. While the flat is not luxurious, it has everything you may need for a ski trip.
The building is fantastically located in a quiet street, just few meters from town center (5 minute walk) and Bus Stop for Ski lifts (2 minute walk).

5 old friends in their late 20's went on the yearly skiing holiday to Chamonic one week in january 2009.
Found this apartment through this excellent service and it seemed to suit us perfectly. Many thanks to Barry for making me feel welcome and safe through the whole process.
If you are on a medium budget this place rocks, nice location and easy access, at least in the first floor. They even got a elevator if you are lazy, or I guess skied to hard.
Nice bathroom, with enough hotwater for everyone. Kitchen is fully equiped and has all the tools you need to survive a week or two.

We would'nt hesitate to book this place again, and I am pretty sure we will some time in the future.

Myself and five friends stayed at this appartment although not a large appartment it was ideal for our needs.The location is fantastic just off the main street but far enough away to be quiet at night.It is also idealy situated for the Chamonix Sud bus stations which generally mean you get a seat on the bus in the morning.
Also a nice selection of bars in chamonix sud.The property was clean and the kitchen well equiped.Customer service was all done via phone and e-mail but without problems.Chamonix is afantastic town with plenty to do for the non skier worth a trip on the train up to the glasier fantastic views.
Overall I would recomend the appartment to a friend whilst no luxurious it is cosy and ideally located a fantastic accomadation for a group of friends or family with a couple of kids.Nice pub across the road the Vagabond also recommend the Munster Bar.
Owner's Response: Good tip about the proxmity to the bus! The pub across the road is great - and on the other side of the building so there's no noise. The 3 bedrooms are cosy but sleep 6 so that means you don't have any luggage or sleepers in the living/dining room. With the credit crunch we find that more and more people are looking for decent cooking facilities to save eating out and this apartment's kitchen is spacious and completely equipped; 4 ring hob, full sized oven, dishwasher and the rest!

Its a great apartment with a view of Alps. Convinient in the town centre but also quiet and peaceful. It feels like home with all the things they have there, and the personal notes from the owner.
